Does Trevor.io store a copy of my database?

💪 No! Trevor does not store a copy of your database.

🔐 Your data stays safely and securely in your own database. 

Here's how it works

• We send SQL over the wire to your database and retrieved only the returned results.
• SQL / results are transmitted using SSL security, which protects against eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks.
• We do cache certain data. For example, when you add data to a dashboard, or set up a data alert, we cache the results for 48 hours (for instance, to make sure that data is available when you open that dashboard) before automatically and permanently deleting them.
