Does Trevor.io detect the joins in my database?

Yes! When you connect your database to Trevor.io, we automatically derive the relationships between your tables. 

We use this information to:

• populate the Suggested Joins section when you click the Join button in the Query Builder.
• power the drill-down buttons (that appear just to the left of the data table in the Query Builder).
• enable you to visualize your database schema, in the Database Map tab.

How does this work?

• We use foreign keys and also consider standard naming conventions to determine the table relationships.
